How registration works
- According to the curriculum there is one registration day in August for the following study year, in MEDonline. Tracks are filled first come, first served.
- The university announces the exact day internally only. We do not know it yet and we will not invent one. Once we know it, it will be on this page.
- The 2026 round is over. Next up: August 2027, day not public.
What is at stake
- A whole year of modules and tracks, with a single click. The curriculum describes no separate route for swapping.
- You do not lose a semester, because everyone gets a place in some track.
- We do not know how fast the popular tracks go. We found no public figures.
The next dates
As of 1 November 2026. The university's own page counts. Dates marked "estimated from last year" are not published but derived from last year.

What Fixplatz is meant to do
- Registration for the annual track in MEDonline at the opening, with up to five ranked choices. That is what the technology handles today, about 30 are planned at WU.
- MEDonline belongs to the same software family as Med.Campus at MedUni Vienna. The connection for Graz is not built yet though, it is planned for August 2027.
Where Fixplatz does not help
- The semester route for late progressors and exchange students, in late May and late October. It ranks by progress and grades.
- Swapping and deregistering. Fixplatz only registers.
Price
- €29per registration
Example: you pay €29 in advance and rank your tracks before the registration day. Your first choice is full and your second is verified. The €29 are then used. If none is verified, they stay as your balance, or you get them back on request. It costs more here than elsewhere, because this one registration fixes a whole year.
You pay in advance by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or EPS. The amount is used only on a verified registration.
Questions about this university
Which day in August is the registration?
The university announces the exact day internally only. We do not know it yet and we will not invent one. Once we know it, it will be on this page.
Do I lose a semester if I am too late?
No. According to the curriculum everyone gets a place in some track. It is about which one.
Does Fixplatz already work for MedUni Graz?
No. There is time until August 2027, but the connection to MEDonline is not built yet. We will test it before we offer it.
May I use this at MedUni Graz?
Some universities advise against them. The rules of MedUni Graz apply, and if you break them, you carry the consequences. The curriculum is linked next to the dates.
Why €29 and not less?
Because a single click fixes your whole year. If it does not work, the €29 stay as your balance, or you get them back on request.
