Terms
The binding terms are the German AGB. This page summarises them in English.
Status: Fixplatz is in preparation. Only the waitlist exists today. Accounts, credits and the extension follow at launch, and these terms apply from then.
- Provider: Nikolas Taschler, Südtiroler Straße 12, 2514 Traiskirchen, Austria, hello@fixplatz.com.
- Service: at opening time, Fixplatz triggers your registration for up to five ranked courses or groups in your university’s system, moves to the next choice if one is not available and checks the result against newer state from the university system. It only registers, never switches or deregisters. Fixplatz is not affiliated with any university.
- No promised place: availability depends on the university, its rules and other students. We cannot promise a place, but you only pay for a verified registration.
- Your part: computer on, online and plugged in, browser open and signed in at opening time. You choose your own targets and follow your university’s rules.
- Credits: 1 for €9, 3 for €24, 5 for €35, final prices, no VAT under the small business exemption. Credits do not expire.
- When a credit is used: only when Fixplatz verifies from newer state of the university system that you are registered for one of your choices. At most one credit per registration run.
- Refunds: unused credits are refunded on request at any time, pro rata to the bundle price.
- Withdrawal: consumers may withdraw within 14 days. If you asked us to start early, you pay only for credits already used. Once all credits of a bundle are used, the right of withdrawal ends.
- Liability: unlimited for intent, gross negligence and personal injury, none for slight negligence. Not for outages, changes or decisions of the university or its systems.
- Law: Austrian law. Mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence still applies.
